Throughout this week you will experience the culmination of a year long collaborative project between Trebah and Glendurgan gardens, young people from 15 schools, local community groups and a team of professional artists.
The project commemorates the 60th anniversary of the end of WorldWar II and the D Day Landings. The work is inspired by, and reflective of local involvement in these events. These include the stationing of the American 29th Division who left Trebah for Omaha Beach on June 6 1944 and the Home Guard patrols of the Helford River.
Enjoy the stunning setting of both these beautiful gardens, and as you wander round, look out for the art installations and performances that have been created specially for ‘Landings’.
